Nelson Mandela remembered in Sapatgram College

GUWAHATI: On the occasion of the 'International Nelson Mandela Day' celebrated worldwide on July 18, students of the Department of Political Science, Sapatgram College has published an e-booklet as a tribute to this great leader from South Africa.

The title of the e-booklet is "The Life of Nelson Mandela" which was edited by the students namely – Rashmi Barman, Nazmun Nessa and Zul Hoque along with an editorial committee of the department of Political Science.

The e-booklet contains articles on the life, education, movement against apartheid, relations with Mahatma Gandhi, incarceration, his autobiography – Long walk to Freedom etc.

The faculty members of the department – Mr. Mahabul Hoque Choudhury, Associate Professor and HoD, Mr. Mithinga Brahma, Assistant Professor and Dr. Juthika Das, Assistant Professor have congratulated the students on their unique endeavour and encouraged them all to carry forward such activities in future, stated press release.
