KALAIGAON: The Kalaigaon Anchalik committee of All Assam Bengali Youth Student Federation (ABYSF) observed the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in the premises of Netaji Club at Balipara on Saturday with patriotic fervour.

The day-long programme started with tri-colour flag hoisting by Pradip Kr. Bishwas and he was accompanied by Debashis Mandal. Bishwas spoke on the significance of the day. After that, lamp lighting was done by Bikash Devnath, president of Kalaigaon ABYSF. Meanwhile, several followers of Netaji like Harakanta Das, Biplab Das, Narayan Das and Madhab Das offered flowers before Netaji's statue. On the occasion, a seminar was held on the ideology of Netaji in the afternoon.

DEMOW: Along with the rest of the State, the All Assam Bengali Youth Students' Federation (AABYSF), Demow Regional Committee, in association with the people of Demow, the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was observed in Demow Kali Mandir premises on Saturday.

On the occasion, the flag was hoisted and after that the swahid tarpan was offered by Apu Dey, a local youth of Demow. Flowers were offered before the photo of Netaji by Manjit Basak, a social worker of Demow. A cake was cut on the occasion in Demow Kali Mandir premises on Saturday. On Saturday evening, earthen lamps were lit in Demow Kali Mandir. On the other hand, the All Assam Bengali Youth Students' Federation (AABYSF), Sepon Regional Committee observed the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji in Sri Sri Lakhi Narayan Thakurbari, Sepon near Demow on Saturday.
