New committee takes charge of International Inner Wheel Club

TINSUKIA: The new 324 Tinsukia district committee of International Inner Wheel Club (IIWC) assumed the charge in a solemn programme at Tinsukia on Monday with Chitra Dey as president and Ranjana Sharma as secretary.

After taking over the charge from outgoing president Urmil Kochar, Chitra Dey said that in the next five years, the new committee would emphasize on the scheme 'Lead the Change' that envisaged on issues relating to children, senior citizens and social obligations. The other members in the committee are Minu Konwar as vice-president, Usha Choudhury and Chandra Paul as joint secretary and treasurer respectively, besides Parveen Khan and Malabika Barman.
