New DC Dhruva Jyoti Das of Biswanath district assumes Office

Biswanath Chariali: The newly-appointed Deputy Commissioner of Biswanath district, Dhruva Jyoti Das assumed office on Monday. Prior to this job, he had served as the Director of Inland Water Transport and also Additional Secretary to the Government of Assam, Transport Department. After assuming office, he sought help and cooperation from everybody in running the district administration smoothly. Earlier, outgoing DC Pabitra Ram Khaound was bidding farewell in a meeting held in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office, Biswanath.

The meeting was presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Sutradhar. Addressing the meeting, Khaound expressed his gratitude to the officials and employees belonging to various departments of the district.
