New executive body of Dularai Boro Harimu Afat (DBHA) formed at Udalguri district

KOKRAJHAR: A new executive body of Dularai Boro Harimu Afat (DBHA) was formed in a special delegates’ meeting of the organization held at Mahiranga Faothinashali, Khwirabari in the Udalguri district on recently. This was informed by one of the members of DBHA.

Sources said the new executive body was formed with Bijuwel Nelson Daimary of Udalguri as president and Bijitgiri Basumatary of Kokrajhar as general secretary while outgoing president Jogeswar Brahma became advisor of the DBHA. Sushil Hazowary of Gossaigaon was chosen as vice-president while Kanaksa Boro of Udalguri became treasurer of the organization. Bijuwel Nelson Daimary was former secretary of the central committee of DBHA while Bijitgiri Basumatary was the president of Kokrajhar district DBHA.
