New general secretary of Sibsagar OBC body appointed

DEMOW: The 64th foundation day of the All Assam Other Backward Classes Association (AAOBCA) was held at its State office premises on January 3.

A State council meeting was also held there. According to the office order, as decided in the State council meeting, Chao Sumeet Kumar Handique, an inhabitant of Demow Alun Nagar Ward No 7 Sibsagar district, has been appointed as the general secretary of Sibsagar District OBC Association with immediate effect.
