New Year programme held in Kaliapani Swarna Gaon

DEMOW: Under the patronage of Sonapur Social Development Society and Sewali Adolescent Group and in association with Demow Gaon Panchayat and the people of Kaliapani Swarna Gaon, to welcome the New Year, a programme was held in Kaliapani Swarna Gaon on Sunday. The programme started with 10-km marathon. The marathon started from Kaliapani and concluded at Sarna Gaon. The cleanliness drive was done and after that the flag was hoisted by Basu Chaura and swahid tarpan was offered by Rupali Chaura. The saplings were planted by Rajen Chaura. Art competition, poetry recitation, singing competition, musical chair competition and fashion show Sports events were also held. Later, prizes were distributed among the winners of the different competitions.
