Newly-elected AASU general secretary felicitated in Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: A warm felicitation was accorded to newly-elected general secretary of the All Assam Students' Union (AASU), Sankarjyoti Baruah along with executive members Binoy Dubey, Rana Sonar and Nikhil Koch, by the Tinsukia District Students' Union at Sahitya Sabha Bhavan, Tinsukia on Saturday. They were also felicitated by 12 Anchalik committees.

The programme, moderated by Samarjyoti Gohain, was attended by Tarangmalla Baruah, vice-president, and Monuram Borah, general secretary of Tinsukia Zilla Sahitya Sabha, respectively, besides others. In his address, Sankarjyoti Baruah stressed strengthening the organization with modernization in education sector. He called upon AASU workers to be more dedicated and to serve the organization with honesty. The newly-elected executive member Binoy Dubey talked about cultural integrity.
