NF Railway Mazdoor Union protests privatization of railways

DIBRUGARH: N F Railway Mazdoor Union under the banner of All India Railwaymen Union is continuously fighting for the rights of railwaymen and also for the working class people. We appeal to all Railwaymen to stand under the banner of NFRMU for the greater interest of railwaymen and common people," said Uttam Bhattachajee, Joint General Secretary of NFRMU on Sunday at Dibrugarh on the occasion of Annual General Meeting of NFRMU, Dibrugarh branch.

The programme started with flag hoisting by Harish Das, President of the branch which was followed by tribute paying programme. The open meeting was presided over by the branch president where several noted people including Dibakar Barua, Vice President, NFRMU, Monoranjan Sarkar, Treasurer, NFRMU, Uttam Bhattachajee, Joint GS, NFRMU, Nareswar Barman and Pulock Gogoi, both AGS NFRMU, Kallol Dev Sarma, Central Organizing Secretary, NFRMU, Paresh Hazarika, Convenor, Tinisukia division, all branch secretaries of Tinisukiya Railway division including Ledo, Moriani, Forkating, Simoluguri etc were present.

The new Dibrugarh branch committee for the session 2022-23 was formed here where Harish Das was selected as president, Nirmal Das as Secretary, Dilip Saha as treasurer.
