No-Tobacco Day observed in Demow

A CORRESPONDENT

DEMOW: The Demow Model Hospital-cum-CHC in Raichai Konwar Dehingia Gaon observed World No-Tobacco Day in the hospital premises on Tuesday.

On the occasion, all the staff of Demow Model Hospital-cum-CHC and the public took a pledge not to consume tobacco products. An awareness programme was also held. The health workers appealed to people to avoid tobacco products as they are harmful for health.

In the programme, Dr Rupam Borkotoky, Deputy Superintendent of Demow Model Hospital, Dr Dandeswar Deori, Superintendent of Demow CHC and other dignitaries were present.
