North Lakhimpur College (Autonomous) Unit of AASU Burnt CM’s Effigy

LAKHIMPUR: The North Lakhimpur College (Autonomous) unit of AASU burnt the effigy of Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal in protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill. By staging the protest at College Chariali on Monday evening, the protesters demanded the Chief Minister to oppose the Bill in the greater interest of the State.
