Northeast Frontier Railway General Manager Ansul Gupta visits Biswanath

BISWANATH CHARIALI: Northeast Frontier Railway General Manager Ansul Gupta reached Biswanath Chariali Railway Station by a special train on Friday. Gupta was honoured with a phulam gamocha and a japi by Akhilesh Jha, Station Master of Biswanath Chariali Railway Station. After this, the president of Biswanath Chamber of Commerce Prabhunath Singh and secretary Pankaj Bora greeted him with a phulam gamocha and a xarai. President Prabhunath Singh had a conversation with the General Manager on Rajdhani Express stoppage and railway-related topics at Biswanath Chariali station.

Various organizations handed over the memorandum related to development of the station to the General Manager. The General Manager made an account of the working of the railway station. After that, the waiting room and baby park were inaugurated. On this occasion, senior social worker of Biswanath Shankar Prasad Gupta, Hariprasad Thakur, senior journalist Niranjan Hazarika, office bearers of various organizations and journalists were present.
