Dibrugarh: It was nothing less than a scene out of any Clint Eastwood movie or the stories we keep hearing about road rage in Haryana or UP. A passenger pulled out a gun after a bus mishap in the Tinsukia-Guwahati route in Assam.

The incident took place in the dead of midnight when a Guwahati-bound Yatra night bus from Tinsukia met with an unfortunate accident with another local bus on the same route.

Suddenly one of the passengers pulled out a gun and started fighting, leaving most of the passengers scared and panic-stricken. Though more details are not available, a few pictures and videos have surfaced on Facebook as one of the passengers, Brittanta Das Mahanta shared on his profile.

After the accident, the bus journey was stopped at Dikom, Dibrugarh and to the utter horror of the passengers, they were made to move on to their destinations on their own, at that unearthly hour.

Some passengers somehow managed to go back to Tinsukia. They filed an FIR against the Yatra travels.

After the horrific experience, what most people are worried about now is, will any man brandishing his revolver become the new cool for Assam.
