KOKRAJHAR: NTPC-Bongaigaon, situated at Salakati in Kokrajhar district, on Friday organized a special awareness session with the Girls Empowerment Mission (GEM), 2025, for the participants to mark the International Plastic Bag Free Day. As part of the initiative, eco-friendly jute bags were distributed to the GEM girls by Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, in the presence of Kasturi Maitra, President, Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club, along with office bearers of the ladies club.
