NTPC distributes masks and sanitizers at Kokrajhar Press Club

Kokrajhar: Mask distribution was carried out in Kokrajhar Railway Station, Salakati Railway Station, Basugaon Railway Station and Kokrajhar Press Club by the NTPC, Salakati on Saturday.

AGM HR AK Chawla handed over 50 face masks to Station Master of Kokrajhar, PK Basumatary. Similarly 35 masks were handed over to Basugaon Railway Station in-charge and 51 to Salakati Railway Station in-charge. Senior Manager Tridib Roy Barman (FM) and Senior Manager (HR) DS Kumar handed over the masks to Basugaon and Salakati Railway Station. All these three stations are closely connected with NTPC Bongaigaon and this gesture was well appreciated by the Railway officials

On Saturday, 177 food packets were distributed in eight villages- Nayachara pt-4, Nayachara pt-2, Saharpur, Kathalguri, Silkatari PT 2, Gaurangtari, Dholmara and Sandyagaon Bamunpara with support of Salakati outpost I/c and lot mandal. All these villages are in the ash dyke area and Salakati. In the evening, 750 masks were also handed over to the Aie Bhandari chairman by GGM Rakesh Kumar and AGM HR Anil Kumar Chawla. Along with these, 150 nose masks were also distributed

The whole funding was done jointly by EWA, Helping Hands NGO of NTPC employees and Bardwi Shikla Ladies Club.
