Numaligarh Refinery Ltd Felicitates Sahitya Akademi Recipient Purabi Bormudoi

GUWAHATI: Renowned Assamese literary personality and Sahitya Academy Award winner Purabi Bormudoi was felicitated by Numaligarh Refinery Ltd. (NRL) recently. At a brief function held at her Dibrugarh University campus residence, Bormudoi was felicitated by Debashish Choudhury Sr. CGM(HR) NRL, P. K. Baruah ,CGM(CSR) NRL along with office bearers of Numaligarh Refinery Sakha Sahitya Sabha. A citation & an amount of Rs 1 lakh was handed over to her for her valuable contribution to Assamese literature.

Barmudoi along with her husband, renowned academic personality Dr. Ananda Bormudoi offered their heartiest regards to NRL for such special felicitation. This event comes in furtherance to NRL’s contribution towards the promotion of art, literature and culture under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Being a conscious corporate citizen of the state, NRL continues to felicitate noted personalities of Assam for their contributions in Art, Literature and Culture.
