Dibya Gohain Gogoi

Dibya Gohain Gogoi (66), writer and poet and the former Inspector of Schools, Sivasagar, passed away on August 29 following kidney ailment at her residence at Gargaon Gohain Gaon of Sivasagar. Gohain Gogoi was a promising writer and had written many books. She was also the working president of the Sivasagar Natya Sanmilan. She leaves behind three sons and three daughters.
