Jainub Khatun

Jainub Khatun (55), wife of teacher Abdul Matlib and a resident of Faraz Nagar under ward no-7 of Mangaldai town, passed away on August 31 following a massive cardiac arrest. Khatun was a pious lady and was loved by all in the locality for her affectionate and helpful nature. Her deep faith in religion with a touch of humanity had offered the opportunity to perform Haj pilgrimage twice in 2012 and in 2015. Her demise cast a pall of gloom in the entire locality.

She is survived by her only son Mizanoor Rahman, a young social entrepreneur and a promising activist of BJP, along with a host of relatives and well-wishers. A large number of mourners and admirers attended the janaja on Saturday at the community graveyard at Tengabari here.
