OBITUARY

Niruddha Chandra Gohain

Former rector of Rohinikanta Baruah Law College, Niruddha Chandra Gohain expired on September 4 at his residence at Jeevan Phukan Nagar. He was 93 years old. Gohain started his career as a professor of English in DHSK College. Thereafter, he retired as the Director of Social Welfare Department. After that, he worked as the principal of RB Law College till 2009. From 2011-2017, he was the rector of the institute. His body was brought to RB Law College on Wednesday for the teachers and students to pay homage.
