Obituary: Binapani Das

A prominent social worker and former AP member of Dakhin Shilabondha GP Binapani Das (71) breathed her last at her Gowal Gaon residence on Friday evening due to prolonged illness. She was closely associated with many socio-cultural organizations of Jamugurihat area. She leaves behind her husband, two sons, two daughters along with a host of relatives. Sootea MLA Padma Hazarika condoled the untimely death of Binapani Das.
