OBITUARY: Dwijendra Nath Sarma

Octogenarian Dwijendra Nath Sarma breathed his last on September 4 in his own residence at Jyotinagar in Guwahati. He was 87 years.

He was a prominent retired person actively involved with various socio-cultural activities in the locality. He leaves behind four sons, including Additional Deputy Commissioner of Sonitpur, Kulen Sarma, four daughters and a host of relatives.

The funeral was performed on Friday evening at the public crematorium at Nabagraha in Guwahati in presence of a large numbers of relatives and well-wishers.
