Kaushalya Devi, a pious lady of Udalguri district, breathed her last at her Udalguri town residence on December 2. She was 88.
A pious lady, she was actively associated with a number of religious and social activities in her native village Bandarguri in the Udalguri district. She was also a first literate lady of her native village Bandarguri. She was born on September 12 in 1933 at Bandarguri. She leaves behind four sons and a host of relatives.
A number of organizations and institutions, including Tangla Media Circle, Human Rights Forum, Tangla, have mourned her demise and expressed condolence to the bereaved family members.
