Obituary: Sahadeb Kalita

Sahadeb Kalita, a former deputy treasurer of Gauhati University (GU), passed away at his residence at South Sarania in Guwahati on February 22. He was 80.

He was associated with a number of social organizations and activities held in the area.

Kalita was known to be an efficient and honest officer during his service at Gauhati University. He leaves behind his wife, a son, two daughters and four grandchildren.
