OC Nitai Chandra Roy suspended in Darrang

MANGALDAI: Taking serious note of the unruly behaviour, insubordination to the senior officials and breach of discipline, Darrang Superintendent of Police Prasanta Saikia vide an order has placed the Officer in Charge of Dhula Police Station Sub Inspector Nitai Chandra Roy under suspension with immediate effect. Mention may be made here that earlier on July 27, the then Officer in Charge of Dhula Police Station Utpal Bora was arrested and forwarded to judicial custody on the charge of wrongful confinement of an innocent citizen.
