Oil India Ltd awarded 'Best Public Sector CSR in North East'

DIBRUGARH: Oil India Ltd (OIL) was awarded the 'Best Public Sector CSR in North East' for 2022 by NE CSR Forum at an official award ceremony held at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences campus, Guwahati recently. Dr Rajdeep Singha, Co-Convenor, NE CSR Forum & Chairperson-Centre for Labour Studies & Social Protection, TISS School of Social Sciences & Humanities handed over the award to OIL. Other dignitaries present were Prof Kalpana Sarathy, Deputy Director, TISS, Guwahati, Dr Sayed S Kazi, Dir, Centre for Social & Digital Development & Convenor NE CSR Forum in the presence of the eminent jury, academicians of TISS & universities of NE, and government officials.

On behalf of OIL, Nayana Madhu Dutta, Senior Manager-PA (CSR) & Shatabdi Mahanta, Manager-PA (CSR) received the award. The participants in the competition were from a host of corporate offices in NE like ONGC, Indigo, ICICI Bank, NEDFI, NGOs like CRY, Ant,UNDP, Government Organisations, and other educational institutions.
