One drowns to death in Tamulpur district

TAMULPUR: One person drowned to death at Bahbari village under Kumatikata Police Out Post in the district of Tamulpur. The deceased person has been identified as Islam Ali (60) of Bahbari village in the Tamulpur district. According to local people, Islam came out from his house to catch fish. But after some time, some local persons found him floating on the water in a channel near his home. Receiving the information, A police team rushed to the spot and recovered the body of Islam Ali and sent it for postmortem. Investigation is going on by Kumarikata police.
