One from Pathsala Anundoram Borooah Academy College, Abhilesh Thakuriya among rank holders

PATHSALA: Like the previous year, this year also Pathsala town has been able to show brilliant performance in the HS finale exam with one student from Anundoram Borooah Academy College of the town grabbing a position. Abhilesh Thakuriya secured 6th position in Science stream from Anundoram Borooah Academy of Pathsala. He is the son of Naba Thakuriya and Gitika Thakuriya of Barnalikuchi, Patacharkuchi area under Barpeta district. His father is an ASI Police under Latashil Police Station.

While speaking to the correspondent, Abhilesh Thakuriya said, “My parents always helped me in every step of my life. My aim is to become an engineer.” Regular study throughout the year was the key of his success, he added. On the other hand, three students from the same instruction scored State highest marks in the subjects Assamese, Anthropology and History.
