One injured in a road mishap at NH-37 Road in Demow

DEMOW: A road accident took place near Demow in Rajmai at NH-37 Road on Sunday where a police constable was seriously injured. According to sources, Santosh Deori, a police constable who works in Sivasagar, was riding a Scooty (AS 04 Z 2481). He was coming from Demow side and heading towards Sivasagar side. The Scooty hit a cow in Rajmai near Demow at NH-37 Road due to which Santosh Deori was seriously injured and the cow died. The local people immediately admitted Santosh Deori at Demow Model Hospital and after providing primary treatment, he was referred to Dibrugarh for better treatment.
