One killed as two trucks collide near Demow in front of Rajmai Bazaar

DEMOW: A road accident took place between a cement-carrying truck and a truck carrying Indane Gas cylinders near Demow in front of Rajmai Bazaar on Tuesday early morning. One person died in the accident. According to sources, on Tuesday early morning a cement-carrying truck (AS 01 B C 8177) which was coming from Sivasagar, hit a truck (AS 23 C C 1888) carrying Indane gas cylinders which was coming from the opposite side. Himansu Borgohain, driver of the cement-carrying truck died. He was a resident of Nazira. On the other hand, Dulan Konwar (23), driver of the Indane Gas cylinder-carrying truck, was seriously injured. He was sent to Dibrugarh for better treatment.
