JAMUGURIHAT: Frequent road accidents have become a matter of great concern for all. Sanen Boro, a dumper driver who hailed from Baksa district, died on the spot while two sustained severe injury when a sand-laden dumper met with an accident at Kusumtola under Jamuguri police station in the early hours on Sunday.

According to information, the road mishap took place on NH-15 when a coal-laden truck bearing registration number AS 01 NC 9175 heading towards Biswanath Chariali from Tezpur collided with a dumper coming from the opposite direction in front of the main gate of 12th AP Battalion. The dumper driver, Sanen Boro (40) succumbed to the injury while Prahlad Suni and Akar Teli, two helpers of the dumper, sustained major injury. The injured were taken to North Jamuguri BPH from where they were referred to Tezpur Medical College and Hospital for further treatment.
