One NDFB(S) cadre apprehended in Kokrajhar’s Gossaigaon

Kokrajhar: Based on specific input, today at around 8 am, a Joint Operation was launched by SDPO, Gossaigaon along with the Army and Cobra in Kachugaon PS area and apprehended one NDFB(S) cadre.

The NDFB(S) cadre identified as Rohiton Narzary (33), son of Late Dharamdas Narzary of Oxiguri village under Soraibil OP of Gossaigaon PS.

The security forces also recovered one 7.65 mm Pistol and 15 rounds of live ammunition from his possession.

On further interrogation, he led to the recovery of one AK-56 rifle, one magazine and 21 rounds of live ammunition, which was hidden underground in his house.

He was earlier arrested in the year 2017. His elder brother SS Sgt. Major Sandw was killed in an encounter with Police in December 2017.

Further interrogation is going on.

A case is being registered.
