LAKHIMPUR: During these distressing times of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lakhimpur district administration has launched WhatsApp service so that people can register their grievances or complaints without having to visit the Deputy Commissioner's office. The district administration also has active presence on Twitter and Facebook.

In this connection, Deputy Commissioner of Lakhimpur, Dr. Jeevan B said that now there was no need to visit the office for complaints and representation. Anyone can send their complaints to 03752-222196 on WhatsApp, @LakhimpurDist on Twitter and @districtadministrationlakhimpur on Facebook. "Complaints sent to these will be considered authorized and will be sent to the respective departments for quick redressal. One person is dedicated to look into these social media platforms exclusively. Anyone can either type a message or send their complaints in jpg or pdf format. Any notification and information released from the DC's office to the public will also be published in these channels," Deputy Commissioner added.
