Online policy review competition 'Xomadhan Vol. 1' held in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: A Golaghat-based organization named 'Obhigyota' successfully conducted Northeast's first ever policy reviewing competition under its newly launched project 'Xomadhan Vol. 1' on June 9.

It is an initiative to come up with a solution for socio-political issues prevalent in Assam. The policy on which the young political enthusiasts shared their ideas and views was 'The Population and Women Empowerment Policy of Assam'. Xomadhan aims to provide a platform to talented young leaders to express themselves, to come up with new solutions and also to encourage the youth to stay at home and be productive at the same time during the COVID-19 outbreak.

More than 50 enthusiastic youngsters participated in the competition. "Our organization always aims to come up with new and innovative ideas for the uplift of today's youth so that they can be tomorrow's leaders and serve humanity," said founder and chairman of Obhigyota, Vikranjit Saikia.
