When contacted, Dutta informs, "It wasn't a joyride during the last couple of years. The hospitality industry was worst hit due to the pandemic, but we survived only because we kept our promise to the students regarding their future, we provided internships to our students in leading 5 Star Hotels across India to the likes of ITC FORTUNE LANDMARK, DOUBLE TREE BY HILTON, KENILWORTH, SUN N SAND etc, which has ensured their permanent placements in 5-star hotels across the length and breadth of India, we have maintained a 100% placement record".
When asked about why he had chosen Gwalior for opening the second centre of the institute, Dutta replied, "Presently we are targeting Tier 2 Cities, as Tier 1 cities are already offering students a number of courses in different fields, and so offering students from B class cities, skill development courses at their doorstep is our aim, so that they can aspire for a career in Food industry. After Gwalior, we are targeting to open our institutes in five more cities within the next two years."
