Outbreak of Diarrhoea-like Diseases at Golaghat District

MERAPANI: Diarrhoea has taken serious form in different places of Ghiladhari mouza of Golaghat district. Meanwhile, more than one hundred people out of 38 families of areas concerned have come under the attack. According to a report, the families of Chakardhora, Puronimelia and Bamungaon have been affected by the Diarrhoea-like situation. Among the victims, major numbers are elderly people, said the study. The district Health department sent the medical groups to the areas for treatment. In a seperate talk with the health officers, village headmen, panchayat members and some officials of social bodies of the area informed that the consumption of Salani fish has resulted in the diseases.
