Over 42 books released on the 2nd day of 62nd BSS session

KOKRAJHAR: Over 42 books written by different writers were released on the 2nd day of 62nd BSS session held at Rani Khalaishree Fwthar in Patgaon on Saturday. The book releasing function was chaired by Ramela Islary, vice president of the BSS. The souvenir of historic session, “Swrmanga Serfang” was released by MLA and president of Reception Committee Lawrence Islary while “Replica of BSS” was released by Bedhbrata Mishra, eminent journalist and “Life Members of BSS” book was released by former Deputy chief of BTC Kampa Borgoyari.

Prominent personalities Dr. Mangalsingh Hazoary, Fr. Kulandai Swami of Catholic Missionary, Diganta Biswa Sarma, member of Sahitya Akademi, Taren Boro, president, BSS, EMs of Boro Kachari Welfare Autonomous Council (BKWAC) - Anil Basumatary, Pranab Bssumatary and Pradip Swargiary, MLA Lawrence Islary, Bolin Bordoloi, son of 1st Assam Chief Minister Gopinath Bordoloi, writer Hira Charan Narzinary and others released the books of different writers and poets.

The book releasing function was addressed by former Deputy Chief of BTC Kampa Borgoyari, eminent journalist Bedhbrata Mishra, member of Sahitya Akademi Diganta Biswa Sarma and Fr. Kulandai Swami.
