Paban Singh Ghatowar criticises government for ‘Anti-people’ policies in his first electioneering meeting at Makum

TINSUKIA: Paban Singh Ghatowar, former parliamentarian and Congress candidate from Dibrugarh constituency, rolled out the first electioneering meeting at Makum in Tinsukia district on Wednesday. Held at Bonamali Saikia Bhavan and organized by Makum Mandal Congress Committee, Ghatowar strongly criticized the anti-people policies of the BJP government. Sukhen Borah, former president of Tinsukia Zila Parishad, and an expelled member of the Congress also returned to the party along with 20 members of the AGP. The meeting was attended by Jayanta Kalita, district president, Masum Baruah, secretary of Assam Pradesh Yuva Congress, among others.
