Paddy procurement centre inaugurated by Mariani MLA Rupjyoti Kurmi
A paddy procurement centre under the Assam Food and Civil Supplies Limited (AFCSL) was inaugurated by Mariani MLA Rupjyoti Kurmi at the premises of the Nakachari Gaon Panchayat Samabay Samiti, on Wednesday.

JORHAT: A paddy procurement centre under the Assam Food and Civil Supplies Limited (AFCSL) was inaugurated by Mariani MLA Rupjyoti Kurmi at the premises of the Nakachari Gaon Panchayat Samabay Samiti, on Wednesday.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Arun Kumar Brahma, District Agriculture Officer Dr Nitumoni Gogoi and several other officials of the Titabar subdivisional administration were present. An official from the District Agriculture Officer informed that the Centre would enable farmers to sell their paddy at Rs 2040 per quintal.
