GOLAGHAT: An interactive session between the parents of the newly admitted students and the faculty members of Golaghat Commerce College was held yesterday. The session entitled 'Bartalaap ' was organised by the 'Entrepreneurship, Career Guidance & Placement Cell of the College in association with the IQAC of the college.

The interactive session was presided over by the Principal of Golaghat Commerce College Dr Utpal Sharma. Several parents attended the programme and expressed their views on providing quality education to the students. They emphasised sports and other physical education, skill development training among other issues.

Principal Dr Sharma, in his speech, stated that the collective efforts and coordination and co-operation among the teachers and parents can lead the students to attain their goals. The co-ordinator of the ECGP Cell, Bhaskar Kakaty anchored the programme.

Vice Principal of Golaghat Commerce College Dr Pradeep Borthakur, faculty members Dr Pranjal Pratim Dutta, Nitima Sharma and Srimanta Hazarika also delivered speech. In the end, the vote of thanks was extended by Junti Dowerah.
