Patient Safety Week observed in Tinsukia district

TINSUKIA: Tinsukia Civil hospital along with all hospitals of the Tinsukia district observed Patient Safety Week from September 12 while September 17 was observed as World Patient Safety Day (WPAD). Eminent Physician Ayondyuti Borah attended a training programme as a guest lecturer who delivered on medication safety. During the week various activities were observed such as innovative learnings on medication safety, awareness generation on 'Rogi Suraksha Saptah' on all public health facilities, poster competition on medication safety etc. On the concluding day, which was observed as WPAD, ADC Dipu Kumar Deka, Dr.Mridul Gogoi, Superintendent, Tinsukia Civil hospital, Mamoon Borkotoky DIPRO Tinsukia, NHM officials, all doctors and staff attended the closing ceremony. The Tinsukia Civil Hospital was lit up in orange colour in the evening.
