People of Assam fed up with present government: Harish Rawat

Haflong: The extended executive meeting of Dima Hasao DCC was held at the indoor auditorium of N L Daolagupu Sports Complex on Friday. The programme was attended by Harish Rawat, general secretary of AICC and in-charge Assam, MP Biren Sing Engti, APCC president Ripun Bora and other Congress leaders. Rawat said that in the last two days he visited the Barak Valley and many other areas of Assam and observed that the people of Assam were fed up with the present government. He also added that the present government was a total failure. He also added that the Congress would rise again in the upcoming NCHAC election. Nirmal Nunisa, former Chairman of APDCL and senior BJP leader, and Sunil Nunisa, former PS (N) NCHAC, joined the Congress formally.
