People will vote to power regional forces: AJP president Lurinjyoti Gogoi

BONGAIGAON: "This time only regional forces will form Government in Assam," said Lurinjyoti Gogoi, president of Assam Jatiya Parishad on Sunday at Bongaigaon while taking part in a mass rally for Dipu Choudhury, AJP & Raijor Dol candidate for 32 LAC Bongaigaon constituency.
"Though different parties ruled in Assam but yet we are counted among the most undeveloped States. We don't have the basic facilities even for education, livelihood. So this time people will only select proper regionalism through AJP and Raijor Dol," Gogoi stated.
Attacking present MLA Phani Bhusan Choudhury, Gogoi stated that the former has been elected from this region seven times.
"People gave him too much love and opportunity. But in return, he did nothing for the people of Bongaigaon. Dipu Choudhury, candidate of AJP & Raijor Dol is determined to bring changes to this region and hence, he will win this time," said Gogoi.
Reacting to Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma's statement that the AJP is internally working for BJP, Gogoi said that Dr Sarma has lost his control over the world and hence he is speaking useless words.
