PHE Minister Ranjit Dass reviews government schemes

NAGAON: State Public Health Engineering Minister Ranjit Dass on Thursday visited Nagaon and held a review meeting with the officials of the district administration at Nagaon DC conference hall.

During the meeting, the minister reviewed the status as well as other progress of various schemes, being implemented under the State government and government of India - including MGNREGA, Prime Minister Awas Yojana scheme, Jal Jivan Mission, Atal Amrit Abhiyan, etc.

During the meeting, the minister also interacted with a number of beneficiaries of those ongoing schemes and took stock of the schemes. He instructed the officials concerned to verify all guidelines of the schemes so that the actual beneficiaries would not be left behind. Local MLA Rupak Sarma, Deputy Commissioner Nisharg Hivare, Chief Executive Officer, Nagaon Zila Parishad Arup Kumar Sarma and other officials of the district administration were present at the meeting, an official release added.
