MANGALDAI: In a unique and exceptional way to offer scope to the younger talents in photography in showcasing their photography skills and to help them in transforming their photography hobby into professional photography, Darrang Photographic Society organized an exhibition of outdoor photography for the first time at Mangaldai at the open field of Mangaldai Sanatan Dharma Sabha. In the photography exhibition titled 'Infinity', a total of 76 photographs of 50 young and established photographers were displayed.

Eminent photographer and Medical and Health Officer Dr. Nipan Chandra Das ceremonially inaugurated the exhibition in presence of a good numbers of enthusiastic persons besides the office bearers and members of the society. Synchronizing with the exhibition, an on-the-spot photography contest for the interested young photographers.

To add a new taste to the exhibition, an attractive yet simple cultural evening was also arranged with the participation of singer of repute Jibendra Mohan Deva Sarma and Rinti Moni Deka. District Development Commissioner Subhalaxmi Deka while visiting the exhibition, highly appreciated the spirit of the organizers in their aim to encourage the budding talents.
