Pig-Laden Truck Meets with Accident at NH-39 Near Rangajan

Golaghat: A pig-laden truck met with an accident at NH-39 near Rangajan under Golaghat police station on Wednesday night. According to sources, a pig-laden truck bearing registration number PB11CB 4757 from Haryana was going to Dimapur in Nagaland with 180 pigs. At Rangajan, the truck with met an accident and more than 90 pigs died on the spot. The driver and handyman of the truck alleged that some miscreants tried to stop the truck at Numaligarh and demanded money. The truck driver refused to pay the money and fled. But the miscreants followed the truck due to which the truck lost control and met with an accident at Rangajan.
