Pious lady Punya Prabha Dutta passes away

DOOMDOOMA: Punya Prabha Dutta (84), wife of late Bhola Dutta and mother of former headmaster of Rupai High School Prakash Dutta and senior journalist Manoj Dutta passed away at her Lachit Nagar, Rupaisiding residence on Monday afternoon. She had been ill for the past few days. She is survived by four sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren. She was a pious lady and was loved and respected by all because of her amiable nature. Her death cast a pall of gloom and was widely mourned by many organisations including Doomdooma Press Club, Rupai High school, Rupai, Tapoban and Doomdooma Namghar Samies, Doomdooma Sakha Lekhika Samaroh Samity.
