Plantation drive conducted at Jamugurihat

JAMUGURIHAT: Inspired by the slogan 'Clean Jamuguri, Green Jamuguri' initiated Sootea MLA Padma Hazarika, the Bormata Milan Yubak Sangha, a social organization of the youths of the Muradal area, conducted a plantation drive on Sunday at the Bormata field.

Inaugurating the plantation drive, Dilip Senapati, president of Dakhin Muradal GP, stated the importance of plantation, greenery and clean environment. The plantation drive was attended by Minati Mech, Manimala Barua, Punam Magar, Sourav Thapa, Sanjib Rana, Benu Rana and Chandra Kumar Aley, among others. More than one hundred saplings of valuable varieties of trees were planted today.
