Plea to hold separate interview for different posts; DTE Assam

KALAIGAON: The candidates who have applied for posts like Lecturer (Technical) and Assistant Professor (Technical) of five newly-established Polytechnics to be made functional shortly under the Directorate of Technical Education, Assam, have demanded to hold separate interviews.

According to some candidates, they have applied for separate posts and examination fee was also given for separate posts. But the department is going to hold the interview on September 27 at the same time for all posts at different venues. Advertisement to the different posts was issued separately and there was no bar to apply for more than one post. The candidates who have applied for different posts will find it difficult to appear for the interview to different posts at the same time. Hence, they have urged the Director of Technical Education, Assam to hold the interview separately for different posts.
