Plog run to celebrate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi

GOALPARA: The Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan of Goalpara district organized on Friday a plog run to celebrate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The programme was organized by the various youth clubs registered under the NYKS. Somnath Paul, district coordinator of Goalpara NYKS, virtually inaugurated the programme and encouraged the youth volunteers to follow Gandhism for a better and peaceful society. Plog run or plogging is a combination of jogging with picking up litter.
