PM Kishan Sanman: Beneficiaries urged to submit e-KYC documents

NAGAON: The District Agriculture Department has urged the farmers who are getting benefits under PM Kishan Sanman and have not yet updated their KYC documents or linked the Aadhaar numbers with their bank accounts, to contact with their nearest Customer Service Centres and do the needful accordingly to update the same.

District Agriculture Officer (DAO) Tarun Hazarika, in a notification issued on Thursday, said that the department concerned has initiated all steps to update details within a week for the farmers of the district so that they can avail rest of the benefits or installments under PM Kishan Sanman scheme without any further disruptions.

In the notification, the district agriculture officer also stated that the farmers' community could contact their respective agriculture development officers concerned or officials of the district agriculture department in this regard. It is also said that those who do not submit their e-KYC documents or link their Aadhaar numbers with bank accounts within the next 7 days, their respective installments under PM Kishan Sanman scheme will be automatically stopped.
